  • This brochure explains the nutrients required for plants and where they come from. It relates nutrients plants need to the elements we need in our bodies. It is written in simple, easy to understand language – making it a valuable resource for anyone studying biology or nutrition.

  • This is a 90-second Virtual Reality* game called Nutrients for Life. As players virtually farm they apply Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), and water to a field based on 4R Nutrient Stewardship.

    This game is fun for all ages on desktop, but if playing virtually it is recommended for players 8+

  • Discuss air, wind, and pollution. Students complete this air scavenger hunt by finding and drawing their answers. Wrap up: Discuss student answers.  What are some examples of activities that require wind? (ie: kite flying, sailing, etc.) What else is wind used for? (wind power) How can we reduce our impact on the air?
